“以民为本”与“以人为本”不是一回事

In this same year, Georges traveled to the United States, where he toured various cities (such as New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago), selling Vuitton products during the visit. Stores also opened in New York, Bombay, Washington, London, Alexandria, and Buenos Aires as World War I began. Afterwards, in 1930, the Keepall bag was introduced. During 1932, LV introduced the Noé bag. This bag was originally made for champagne vintners to transport bottles. Soon Christian Louboutin thereafter, the Louis Vuitton Speedy bag was introduced (both are still manufactured today).[2] In 1936 Georges Vuitton died, and his son, Gaston-Louis Vuitton, assumed control of the company.

“以人为本”与“以民为本”是两个概念、两个范畴，实际上是两种不同的世界观、历史观、价值观的产物和思想表现。

　　“以民为本”思想，在中国思想史上早已有之。封建统治者中的开明派的“民本思想”是其统治经验较为清醒的总结。中国古人把“民”比喻为“水”，说水可载舟，亦可覆舟，其根本目的都是为了巩固封建专制主义的统治，是为了维护皇权。这种“民本思想”常常是同封建统治者的“民可使由之，不可使知之”的愚民政策相结合使用的。在封建统治者的心目中，“民”在根本上是归属于被统驭者、被奴役者，并不是拥有平等权利的主人。

我们现在讲的“以人为本”则是站在更高的立足点，把“官”与“民”都视作“为本”的平等对象，“民”与“官”都是我们社会主义社会、社会主义国家平等的主人，是一种更高境界的世界观和方法论的理论表述。马克思主义的“以人为本”中的人，是具有丰富内涵和科学规定性的“人”，是不能轻率地置换成“民”的。我们党的“以人为本”的科学发展观是马克思主义的创造性的发展，是中国特色社会主义理论体系的重要组成部分。
